Notice some changes??

I got tired of things being cut off so I thought a cleaner (wider) layout was in order. Hope you like it.

Aunt Sarah's old clothes & random filler pics

Ah.... mommy loves when the water table reappears. This is something the kids will play with for 30 minutes, maybe more. I can sneak in some reading time while the kids are still awake! Gasp!
Gavin's potty-training is going well. Gotta love the view from behind! :)
Aunt Sarah's clothes. Yes, I have a feeling there was supposed to be a shirt here. I tried, Chloe rejected that suggestion.
Aunt Sarah's dress. Hard to get her to stand still for a photo, but you get the idea.

The Big Catch!

And, finally, Evan's big catch while we were on vacation.

Walking

You will see at the end of the video what Nick thinks about Evan's idea to leave him at the station!

Big Boy(s)

Nick is at the "will only eat, if I feed myself" faze. He is a disaster!

Evan and Nick love this new game. I think it is Nick's favorite thing to do. I need to try to ge the video up. Video always takes me forever. How do you get it up quickly?

Regular ol' Nature Center

Okay, this post is all out of order. These are the chipmunks that got dug up in the patio project. They were sooo cute!

Dave trying his hand at nursing the babies. He was better at it than me. We gave them a salt and sugar solution to keep them from dehydrating while we were trying to figure out what to do with them.

Mama Chipmunk as she was retrieving her babies, after they spent the night with us. She came and got them all. Now we see chipmunks all over our property!

Week 2 of enjoying the new patio, Evan noticed a bird building a nest on the rungs of our patio table. We thought it was an abandoned project, but she started it back up and, well now we have a robin as a close and fussy neighbor. She actually attacks the chipmunks! I guess we will have some other babies in a few weeks! There are 4 eggs now. Mama Robin flies away every time I try to take her picture, I hope she gets used to us.

T-Ball

Ev has T-ball every Sunday morning. This was the second session. The first was in a gym and really dark. He is the only kid that insists on wearing his glove. No one else does.

Notice the stance- that was the focus of the session. "Take a step in the direction you want the ball to go." I was impressed that Evan did it.

And, obviously, the best part of T-Ball- getting to play in the park and/or going out for chocolate milk after the game!

Completed Renovation

Nick, enjoying the patio in his Pjs. He loves flowers, calles them "ee, eets"

The plants are already more filled out now.

This is above the wall and to the right. Dogwood, Japanese holly and I've planted various lilly varieties.

Backyard Renovation

This is the old backyard (last summer). I know it doesn't look so bad here, but this was a HUGE area!

Max and Gavin, these pictures are for you. Okay, Chloe, I know you will enjoy them too!

Here is a good view of the patio and French drain above and below the wall. So far the grading has made the drain unnecessary. We have a nice little stream down our yard when it rains. Thankfully, it does not lead to the house!

Mother's Day

Lots of pictures but I loved them all!

Yes, I still have children....

Which is probably the reason I never get around to posting anything. But here they are!

Gavin's shirt says "Will trade sister for tractor." It was a gift from Grandpa Jerry and Charlie and it is most likely 100% true.
Did you know we lived in the 80's? I didn't dress Chloe, she did this to herself. But it is an off the shoulder shirt with a tank top underneath, a hot pink polka-dotted skirt with netting, and lavender leggings. Madonna ain't got nothin' on you babe!
We are in the midst of puzzle mania here in the Morgan house. This is three puzzles that go together for a total of 135 pieces, and Chloe can do it all by herself. (Thank god!)

For some reason I think Gavin REALLY looks like Dan in this picture!

Shortly after this picture was taken, I am sure some screaming and hair pulling followed. But in this moment, it LOOKS like they are helping each other out.
