Playing Monster

New picture

So they said there was a problem with the cd and they let us retake our picture. Max still wasn't happy but that is part of the fun.

Max and his Boy Santa

I am not sure if I want to take this back and have them retake the picture since it isn't what I expected. I thought there would be more of Max... what do you think? I didn't see the picture until I took the cd to Target to get printed.

Upon further review and thought I think what happened was that the photographer zoomed in to see his face and forgot to zoom out before burning the cd. Still not sure if I will have it retaken.

Gavin trying to move

Gavin is getting more and more frustrated about not being able to move. Tonight he started scootching on his butt and this is my attempt to capture it. I have heard of babies who "crawl" like this, never on their hands and knees, so who knows? You will notice I am fighting with Chloe for the camera in this also. Gotta love the terrible twos!

Gavin's "arm"

Okay, so I know baseball runs in the family and all... but I am not sure I can stomach 18 years of baseball. Give this kid soccer ball... well, I guess he will need to learn to walk for that one.

Dan and Gavin horsing around...

Please daddy... pick me up! It is boring down here!
Balancing baby.....

Well, another child for Dan to toss around! Gavin loves it ALMOST as much as Chloe did at this age.
Gavin is giggling like crazy here as Dan swings him upside down.
He will most certainly like roller coasters.... up and down.... up and down....

levitating baby! (the red-eye in the second one really gives it that possessed look!)

Santa

As soon as Evan saw Santa he started yelling "bike!" He was a very brave boy and asked Santa for a red bike numerous times. He even specified that he did not want a blue bike.

Christmas Tree

He likes to see his reflection and stick his tongue out.

Fun in the snow

Sledding with Daddy.
Evan learns how to make and use snowballs.
He was not a big fan of riding solo in the sled.

Thanksgiving

The baby bump- 14 weeks. I looked for a comparison picture, but I am not going to post it because of my awful hair style then! I am actually not all that different, kind of surprised me.
Great Grandma and Evan.
Evan's favorite part about Thanksgiving was this chocolate turkey.

Evan loved this drum. He played it non-stop. This pic was before he found the mallets...

Tea with Mrs. Claus

Chloe and I went to have tea with Mrs. Claus today (or, as she called her, "Mrs. Ho Ho"). There were Christmas songs, stories, and cookies!

The kids danced around the room playing instruments. Chloe enjoyed the tambourine more than it looks.
Chloe's monkey grin
Talking to Mrs. Claus
I couldn't believe she was brave enough to dance around without me! She is getting to be a big girl!
Now she's dancing with the elves.
It's hard to get a picture with a two year old hopped up on cookies!

Chloe's favorite part of the event was the cookie!

Pics of our weekend

Chloe modeling daddy's/Papa's hat...

Wearing our matching tie-dyes (made by my fourth grade class).
Gavin loves to read the "baby faces" books! He gets so excited when he reads them.
