Georgetown Loop Railroad Ride

For Max's birthday we drove up to the mountains and rode a diesel engine.

Christmas Eve in MA

My posting got all out of order! This followed the sledding on Christmas Eve!
Next, we made gingerbread cookies for Santa. See Nick's spoon? Guess where that is going? Take a look at big brother showing little bro the ropes!

Christmas morning

The boys actually slept in until 7:00. Probably because we kept them up until almost 9 last night. We ended the evening with a ride around the neighborhood looking at lights. The picture above was not taken Christmas morning... ;)

We did not get many pictures of Evan opening his gifts. I think this was because he was moving at the speed of light. It was really neat that he could actually read the tags this year, and pick out the gifts that were for him and those that were for Nick.

Christmas Eve in MA

Our charcuterie appetizer with a bottle of wine we got 5 years ago!

Nick, after his dessert.

The boys in their Christmas Eve Pjs. Below, Ev is contemplating how Santa will fit down our chimney. He was quite concerned that the flue was closed.

Christmas Eve in MA

We started the holiday off with sledding at the hill down the street. It is a fast hill, and a little much for Nick. Ev tuckered out pretty quickly, but when we he got home he and daddy spent another hour outside building a snow fort.

Christmas photos

We have this picture taken every year....

I wasn't planning on buying copies of the individual pictures, but Chloe's was just awesome... it was so her. So, out came the wallet. :)

Snow...FINALLY!

We have been waiting for the snow to start falling, and we finally got our first actual accumulation today! It still is not much, but enough to get out and have a lot of fun. We did take Nick out once last year, but this was the first time he really played in the snow. He liked it for about 20 minutes, then got tired and hungry. The shot above was him attempting to make a snowball. I see many a fight in the future!

Our snowman got lots of kisses from both of the boys. Evan was so excited to make a snowman, and he came up with the idea of using a flower stem that we could bend for the mouth.

Visit With Santa

Santa came to the local elementary school. Here is Max decorating a cookie. He ate all the decorations and only added frosting to his cookie.

Gigi looking on.

Max wouldn't sit with Santa so when Santa got up to use the little boy's room Max and Gigi had a good time in his chair.

Just a funny sad baby picture.
