Chloe and Daddy playing guitar

It is a little dark, but cute none-the-less.

Random new pics

This kiddo is becoming such a ham. He has such a "littlest" personality. He tries to torment his sister all the while playing innocent to his parents.
At the top of the mountain on our hike on Wednesday. We went with the highschool backpacking club and the kids were a big hit.
Doesn't he look TALL in this picture??

Umm.... yeah.... you tell an enthusiastic 18 month old that the dress up clothes aren't for him. I bet you couldn't do it either.
Chloe's fav outfit as of late

Chloe's new bedroom without the crib! Gavin has been officially banished to the basement! Of course, that is a finished basement with a whole room to himself that he chose OVER the room upstairs. But it sounds cooler to say we stick our son in the basement.

Birthday part 2

Opening presents...
One of the favorite gifts was free! Everyone at the party wanted to play with the fisher price hospital that was mine growing up. Chloe and Gavin both love it. Too bad we don't have two.

Chloe told us months ago that she wanted a guitar and a watch. I kept expecting her to change her mind but except for a time or two where she changed it to a violin... she held fast. So, daddy was happy to fulfill that request.
We continued the celebration by heading to MD for blue crab and the aquarium. Gavin LOVED every second of the aquarium.

Jamming now that Aunt Sarah's present of bongos has arrived. Chloe asked her for drums and she delivered! (Still vying for favorite aunt I see!)

This picture sums up my baby girl... playing with dinosaurs in full princess regalia! I love it!
Happy birthday my little princess! I love you.

Soooooo.....

I know that this happened a good three weeks ago, but school started pretty much right after. So, here are Chloe's birthday pictures! We'll start with her cake. She requested months ago that she have a snake cake. I took her at her word and three weeks later she is still talking about it. She knows what she likes.

It starts a very normal looking cake

Some creative cutting and some lovingly mixed green frosting...
Then some green sprinkles....
Maybe not THAT many!!
Add some creepy crawlies and you have a cake made for Chloe, by Chloe!

The finished product!
opening her presents in the morning from Grandma Elaine and Papa
Chloe's new Dora watch
cake and favors - the favor bags had gummy worms, plastic bugs, and bug stickers to stick with her creepy crawly party.
Chloe pretty much didn't stop smiling the whole time. Guess we are through with the shy phase!

More guests enjoying their dinner.
Ethan and Grayson were a hit at the party... oh yeah, and we enjoyed seeing you too Beth. ;)

Don't know if you can tell here, but the snake's tongue is a candle too.
Blowing out the candles with her "real" party guests - Emma and Kenna (the only two guests she really cared about!)
