New Dining Room

David ROCKS! The new dining room is gorgeous. We still have to paint and touch up, but it feels so much more like home.
Okay, more funny faces. Must be the week for it.

Tree and Funny Faces

Hooray for our first real Christmas Tree in 7 years!
Nick managed to make a really funny face in nearly every shot!
I know it look slike he has teeth. They are not through the surface yet, but you can see the outline of them under the skin.

Fauxhawk!

David took Ev to get his hair cut last night and this is how he came home! Thankfully, it is all just gel and not the cut. Ev was not a big fan of it.

Thanksgiving shots

If you enlarge this photo to full size, you can see all six grandkids. Very few look happy about this endeavor.
Chloe dressed up in Aunt Sarah's old ballet clothes.
Trying to take a picture with all four kids. Evan wasn't in the mood.....

hiding
taking center stage
where'd he go?
join the crowd!
Checking each other out!
Gavin "reading" to Nick
Happy Nick!

Chloe and Evan snuggled under Chloe's precious "green blankie" and watching Cars.
Working on the light bright

Finished!
Not from Thanksgiving, but a pretty cute picture I think!

Our little Phish-heads

Chloe and Gavin have a favorite phish song now. They ask us all the time for "The Happy Song." Normally Gavin is a little more into the song but he is pretty tired here.

Take 2

Okay, so I am not sure why the earlier post didn't work, but apparently you all can't see it. So, here is my little guy! Above was the second or third time Nick had oatmeal.

This was the first day he had solids. He was really interested and loved grabbing the spoon and my hands.
His interest in solid foods has cooled somewhat, but I am sure not for long.

Enjoying the exersaucer.

Changes in the Morgan House

So, this afternoon was Gavin's first nap in his big boy bed. We have been reading him bedtime stories in it for a while and today we cobbled together the side rails. Besides being an entirely different color, they actually aren't any different than the side rails on Chloe's bed. Doesn't he look so small in that big bed?And yes, that is a comforter on the floor. I am not entirely sure this bugger won't crawl out.
Speaking of crawling out, it appears that Gavin's first day IN his big boy bed will coincide with the first day Chloe has learned to get OUT of hers. Last night we were watching a movie and we were greeted by a shadowy figure in the doorway. After jumping out of my skin, I realized it was Chloe. Now we have a whole new set of challenges. Doesn't she look so innocent? Don't let her fool you.
Chloe is super into pre-literacy skills right now. She has learned many of her letters and loves to engage in writing activities. Here she is picking out recipes and telling Dan what the ingredients are so we can make a shopping list. It is kind of fun to see my masters program before my very eyes.

Chloe's "Chicken Song"

She has entitled this song the "Chicken Song" and I am SURE she HAS to have heard some of these lyrics somewhere, but I can't figure out what song. She has personality, that is for sure.

The Wetgan

My apologies for the multiple postings. Now-a-days, if I have a moment, I have to use it! You'll notice there are no new pics of the house or of Halloween night. Our memory card was full and the cords all packed up. Some friends got some pics of Halloween night but have yet to send them our way. We'll try to get some house pics up as we settle in, but we are still a ways from being settled.
Here are few more shots from the weekend. Nick on the train (wearing my new favorite shirt), Evan playing in leaves.

The Morgan and Wetzel families!
Ohio upset PSU this year, so the Wetgan will be on display in MI (what a shame).

Weekend in PA

WE had our annual get together with the Wetzel family to watch the PSU/OH game. We met up in the Poconoes and went to a cute town called Jim Thorpe on Sunday. They had a locomotive and there was not stopping Evan from getting on that train!

This is Leo, he is 3 weeks younger than Nick. The two were very cute!
