When we got home, Christmas had arrived in the mail from Grandpa Jerry and Charlie. Thank you!

Post Christmas fun!

We went to see Great Grandma Morgan while we were there! Chloe even got a polka lesson from Grandma Elaine while we listened to the visiting accordion. (video to follow later)

We also went for a hike to feed the birds. The chickadees would land right in your hands!

Christmas day

Christmas started with Christmas Eve morning when Chloe and Gavin got to open a present each from Grandma Elaine. Chloe's held a gift certificate to get her ears pierced... which we did that day!

Christmas morning. Notice how all the pictures are a bit of a blur? We decided this year to take a few photos, but to mostly just enjoy the morning.

Santa Photo Op

So, on Saturday we went to have the kids' annual portraits done. This was a little bit of a disaster. Gavin is apparently WAY more sensitive than I thought. Dan and I snickered at a funny face he made and he cried most of the rest of the way through the session. He kept telling me he couldn't do it, it was too hard. Broke momma's heart. I learned my lesson. But we went from there on to the Fort Valley Nursery to see their Santa. Totally different experience. Both kids were happy and excited!

Chloe pulled a "I want a dollhouse" out of left field... um.... Santa might have to think about that one.
