Playing at the park...
The weather has been so beautiful that we have been hanging out outside everyday after school. Here is Chloe doing her favorite thing, putting rocks in a bucket.
Playing ball... she loves this too.
This is one happy baby!!
Another weekend, another hike!
This hike was a little rough when we went up 1,000 feet in 0.1 of a mile. But the next two miles wound leisurely along the ridge with spectacular views! We ended with an almost 360 degree view. I didn't even try to photograph that, there was just no way. Here we are at the summit.
Daddy and Chloe taking a play break.
Hiking on her own
Its mommy's turn
You don't get far when you stop at every leaf and stick.
The whole hike had views like this.

Hiking over the weekend
We had a beautiful day today, 70 degrees... blue skies... so we had to get out. Only thing is, the higher up on the mountain we got, the colder that wind was. But what a view from the top
Halfway there.....
Stopping for a snack...
Chloe's nose is chilly!
How'd that baby get up here all by herself?? This picture doesn't show the spectacular view. We were too busy huddling together!!
Chloe's new snuggly pj's.

Halfway there.....

Week 22
They tried to do a 3D scan but the baby wouldn't sit still - definately takes after it's Dad.
All went well yesterday. They saw some calcium in the heart but said not to worry about it, so we aren't.

ECHOGENIC FOCI
Not to be a downer but I thought this information was helpful. Doing some further research online I found that since I don't have any other risk factors I shouldn't worry too much.
ECHOGENIC FOCI
Prevalence
Echogenic foci in the heart are found in about 4% of pregnancies and in 12% of fetuses with trisomy 21.
Etiology
Histological studies have shown these foci to be due to mineralization within a papillary muscle.
Diagnosis
Echogenic foci are detected in the four-chamber view of the heart. In about 95% of cases, they are located in the left ventricle and in 5% in the right ventricle; in 98% they are unilateral and 2% bilateral. Ventricular function is normal and the atrioventricular valves are competent.
Prognosis
Echogenic foci are usually of no pathological significance and, in more than 90% of cases, they resolve by the third trimester of pregnancy. However, they are sometimes associated with cardiac defects and chromosomal abnormalities. For isolated hyperechogenic foci, the risk for trisomy 21 may be three times the background maternal age- and gestation-related risk (see Appendix I).
