Photo Shoot

So I thought I would try to take pics myself for this year's Christmas card...

Here's what I got. Not sure what the card will look like, if we use any of these.

MA Halloween

Yes, these pictures are a month late!
I love how Nick is chillin' in the picture above.

Nick decided all of the carving tools should be stored in his pocket.

Both of the boys had a rollicking good time trick or treating. Nick was really into and actually ran along with the older kids for most of the night. This was Evan's spontaneous super hero stance!

Halloween Party

Gigi is sick so I don't have any pictures of her in her costume :( Good news is Max won second place in the costume contest which came with a ribbon and $15. The costume cost me about $4.00 to make so we are ahead $11!

Happy Birthday, Evan!

Four years old, with his Fender.
Three years old, with Beatrice.

Two years old!

One year old.

One day. Where does the time go?

Party Highlights

Well, this is all out of order. We started with a scavenger hunt, which you will see below. Then, we had arts and crafts time, followed by cake, some more outdoor time, and finally presents.

The kids had a good time on the scavenger hunt. There were a number of older children, so they led the crew, and helped read the clues. Here are two of them:
"To find the next clue on this trail, go to the place you will find a dump truck, bucket, and pail!"
"I want to suck your blood, but must get off this window first! Come to me for your next clue and to quench your thirst!" We have a huge vampire window cling. I met them at it with juice boxes and the next clue!

The Cake

Ev asked for a Batman cake this year. We delivered with a 4 layer marbled cake (filled with custard), frosted with Batman blue buttercream and decorated by both parents! We are pretty proud of how the cake turned out. We have half left though!

Nick was in awe! He just kept sneaking back into the dining room to stair at the table.

Point Sebago

We went to Point Sebago on Sebago Lake in Casco, ME last weekend with our neighbors. It was a nice and much-needed break!
Evan has become quite the golfer this summer. He LOVED mini-golf and we played many rounds at the camp. He even got his first hole in one! He also got par on many holes!

One of the many beautiful views of the lake. We stayed in small cabins right on the lake. The kids had a great time playing on the beach.

This was our last night and the light was just awesome.
