jet plane
This is what I am hoping for tomorrow on the plane - sleeping or very happy children. I told Kevin I should get a merit badge for flying across country with these two and he said "more like an idiot badge." That really cracks me up; I keep picturing a big ole badge that says "IDIOT" in bright red.

Aunt Stephanie's house
My sister is lucky enough to have a small lake in her backyard... literally. The kids had a great time going out in the kayak looking at the nest of baby birds and grabbing at lily pads and their flowers.
Painting project
We repainted the foyer and the dining room the last couple of days and the kids were dying to paint. We let them help here and there, but they were very unsatisfied. So we took them outside and let them paint with the left overs. Here are the results.

Rocking Road Trip
I'll be honest here, much more fun to travel with my munchkins now. I don't miss trying to change diapers and breastfeed while on the road for 10 hours. Here is just a sample of why we had so much fun.

And probably her kindergarten teacher as well. She might appreciate this more than we do!
